Ningi

Between Bribie Island and Caboolture, the small locality of Ningi lays on the beds of Pumicestone Passage. With a small population less than 5,000 and most residents being retired, there are no schools within Ningi itself, though Caboolture and Bribie Island schools are only minutes away. For entertainment in the region, besides the beautiful beaches and boating opportunities at Bribie, you’ll find the beautiful waterfront Sandstone Point Hotel who offers delectable meals, an Oyster Shed and several events throughout the year including music festivals, kids carnivals and more. Further down the road, you’ll also find the Big4 Sandstone Point Holiday Resort. Named from the Aboriginal Undanbi clan, the Ningi Ningi, it is no surprise that Ningi is home to an Aboriginal Bora ring.
